I recently had to decide whether to continue working in a job that made me miserable or take a leap of faith and resign. I knew God had instilled in my heart that it was time to move on. I had been exploring opportunities, but no doors were opening.  Not having another job made this decision difficult and the enemy tried everything to put doubts in my mind, but in the end, I trusted in God’s direction and resigned the position. My faith in God paid off, within two hours I began receiving interview requests and within a few weeks I accepted my dream job. If I had not stepped out in faith and put my trust in the God, I would still be in a position where I was not happy. The enemy will use doubts and fears as their fiery darts to try to penetrate our Shields. But our faith protects us like a battle shield; it puts out fires because it has been soaked in the Living Water of Jesus Christ.
