All Scripture is inspired by God and is useful to teach us what is true and to make us realize what is wrong in our lives. It corrects us when we are wrong and teaches us to do what is right. 2 Timothy 3:16 NLV

Whenever I head out on a trip, I always set my GPS, so I stay on the correct path and don’t get lost along the way. God’s word is like a supernatural GPS. It teaches by telling us the right way to go, The GPS alerts us when we have made a wrong turn just as God’s Word rebukes and warns us when we are in the wrong. When I get too far off my path, the GPS corrects my course.
The GPS will continue to correct our path and guide us along the way until we reach our destination, just as Gods word instructs and leads us in the right directions of life. But the GPS only works if we turn it on and use it. The same can be said about Gods Word, it does no good unless we know it, understand the power of the Word and allow the Spirit to use it in our lives. We cannot fight the good fight without the proper weapon. God’s word is compared to a sword which can be used for both offence and defense. Knowing and using God’s word is vital for direction in our lives and for the battles along the way.
